Seaglide. Because if you go with seamonth when you die, the seamonth doesn't comeback to base lol. It's staying where were you parking it. To avoid reaper, go straight to the aurora 'opened mouth'

I've gone to and from the Aurora with my seaglide several times, and i've never encountered anything that could kill me (except for the almost harmless lads in the creepvine forests). If you stay in the top 50-100 metres, and stay out of biomes with too many leviathans, you'll be fine.

I’d rather go in person with the sea glide due to there being a reaper there, unless I have the perimeter defense system upgrade on my seamoth...

Do not go with your cyclops, they’ll tear it apart. There is a strategy to not being caught by reapers in your seamoth when on the way to the aurora. I’ve never been caught by one. Helpful tips can be found here:
