I think there’s only one there. I went all around the seafloor under the floating island and I haven’t seen one there. So if you make a base near the edge of grand reef near the wreck you should be fine. But yeah, the ghost leviathans are scary as hell

But build a base in underwater islands if you’re in creative if not then get good protection because there are a f***ton of bonesharks there sorry for swearing

The bonesharks haven’t been a problem for me yet. I have a base there. Near the edge of it. And another on the biggest island that’s below the wreck that’s there (not the island with the wreck on it, there’s a very big one under it with a thermal area).

But I do recommend getting the seamoth perimeter defence system and getting a repulsion cannon. That helps a lot when building it.

They annoying

(SPOILER)If it's for the beginning of the game, make one near the entrance of jellyshroom and build a scanner room. I did, and it helped so much with shale and magnetite
