The thing about the scanner room: it's only useful IMO if you have the HUD upgrade, but you need magnetite to get it, I found magnetite in the Jellyshroom caves, but only after hours of searching and dying a few times. Ik that doesnt really help but that's why the scanner room is pretty simp until you find magnetite, again, IMO

The Magnetite is actually pretty common in the Jellyshroom biome ( also in the Lost River and Lava Zones if I'm not mistaken), it's just that the deposits blend into the terrain really easily so missing it can be a problem.

I would recommend using a flashlight to just scan and look all over the cave walls and floors and I guarantee you'll find a good amount, at least 7 in the first 15 minutes.

Use the seamoth lights on the floor, you will find tons
