I just stay away from the Crabsnakes and mind my own business. When they occasionally catch me, I stab them with my knife and they run. Jumpscares shouldn’t be a problem if you hug the sea floor. The Crabsnakes look kinda funny in my opinion.

If it makes you feel better, those things basically can't touch your seamoth. And, if you take like 5 medkits, then you just can't die. (at least, not in the time it will take you to explore everything and gather up everything) just imagine them as worms giving you a hug. Idk. That sounded weird.

Make a seamoth first then take it down there and stay in it for 95% of the time

If you go in with a seamoth get the first depth mod so it doesn't break

It's the only place with large magnetite deposits, though.
