You do have a point @Masterpr236 but what I think they mean is that she won’t die then but still will cause of old age ( if that’s not what she did die of in the game)
True, I was going with the impression that she would die IF you left, if she would just die of age then I would agree, but that might be longer than we might expect tho, she could just be alive, slowly dying, cuz that might be how they are,not saying that that is what happens, so you would just be stuck there for years
Do we know why she died in the first place?
But a different point is the poll says "stay on the plant and she lives, or leave and she dies, thiss dosent have much to do with that but just a point
I assume that's just their life cycle, once the children hatch, they die.
Idk but most people will see this and not have much thought about it and they will feel sympathy for the sea emperor
Yea
I believe that the Sea Emperor only died after its children hatched because it took so long, it doesn't make sense for an adult member of a species to die after their young hatch. That would mean that they can only create one batch of eggs. Also, think about the fact that the Sea Emperor’s children would have to grow up without a parental figure and a species intelligent enough for communication with humans obviously would care for their young and guide them through life. If you let the Emperor die, those children could grow up without the basic skills for life. The argument could also be made that after the Emperor dies they do become an ocean current or sand upon the ocean floor being able to lead their children in the right direction through subtle cues, but this is just my opinion. btw this is my first time saying something on this platform.
Alright that makes sense, but I will say that the thing about them being an ocean current or grain of sand is also closer cuz the sea emperor is on the verge of death when her eggs do hatch so unless she's using esp or whatever she use to talk I don't think that she can guide her children in that explanation, I feel like they just live like how you would expect creatures to live, through instinct, also, it is possible that the sea emperor learned how to communicate through the precursors/architects
Good point
What do you think?
