If you're trying to damage it, note that that have 10,000 hp. It is possible to damage it, but it is hard to do so.

Try to use the repulsion cannon rather than killing it, you can get it via a modification station and the propulsion cannon should now be yellow, a repulsion is also more powerful than a propulsion.
