Base Pieces

It isn't damage, it's just flooded. i came back from an adventure in the crystal caverns and it was just flooded. i tried to exit and reenter, but nothing changed. maybe it's a bug. i think i will put some bulkheads and see if it works.

Update: it was damage. it was because i threw a sea monkey on my seatruck dock and it caused damage.

I know this is a fairly common question but I'd like some advice from some more experienced players. I usually put my first base in safe shallows but is there any other biomes/specific locations you can recommend? Thanks. By the way, I don't really care about spoilers since I have already been spoiled for a lot of things lol.

hey everyone 👋 so i've been playing subnautica for a couple months on PS4 and i am loving it! recently got the cyclops and it is just amazing 😃

however, today i spent hours looking for a placeto make my new base (my old one was in the safe shallows). firstly i tried the northern blood kelp zone but soon realized that the electric eel dudes will not help the situation. finally, i decided on the deep grand reef because of its proximity to lost river and beautiful surroundings. after a bit of building(which ended in me drowning twice lol) i realized that the area is too cramped and i won't be able to move the cyclops around that easy.

so now i am planning on moving somewhere else but i really have no idea. what do you think should i stay and make a base in the deep grand reef or should i move to a better spot? ideally, i would like an area that is close proximity to lost river and has a decent amount of resources. it would be cool if you guys could show a picture of your base for ideas too. thanks so much in advance really appreciate any help🙂

Okay so heres a predicament, all givewaway items including the hullplates and sceptic eye tank (big sad that we cant build it) have become unusable due to recent updates making them unbuildable. So if anyone has the subnautica special edition hullplate, please check to tell me if it is buildable or not.

My gut tells me the devs would have left this item to be still buildable considering it exists as a thanks for buying the game kind of a special non tradable item. But I am not too sure. Since I don't own the special edition I can't figure if it works or not. So if anyone got this hullplate, please let me know ASAP if it works or not.
