Chelicerate

I made a custom world in below zero where its basically creative but i have to get materials and blueprints and im gonna make a base in the void and change it back to survival when im making it for a challenge

I made a base in the deep Lilypad caves and a chelicerate chased me to the edge of the purple vents and i hear him alot

I HAVE MADE A BASE IN EVERY BIOME IN BELOW ZERO

Final base was in the void

Its just a void chelicerate that I modified to see it was good and for me its very pretty

I think i should if i do should i do it with grappling arm and drill arm or shockwave with perimeter defense upgrade?

Anyone know how to avoid these nightmares without dying? I have perimeter defence system which works pretty well, but it has a cool down timer, AND uses electricity. PLEASE HELPP
