I've tested that Reapers can be quite efficiently killed by a late-game Cyclops via ramming with shields up (ion cells greatly help but aren't strictly needed).
Short version: propeller blade damage actually being modeled in the game, and a Reaper AI that makes it attack the Cyclops' stern, and a very efficient rearview camera = dead reapers.
Wasn't the Cyclops supposed to be defenceless against them? Because those propeller blades are more efficient at making sushi than Iwao Komiyama...

I recently went to the Lost River, and when I left I went down the wrong exit with my Cyclops, getting stuck. at first, I thought I wasn't stuck, turns out I was but I was saved. For the next few minutes, I desperately tried to kill mobs and stop the ship from exploding. I had to reload 5 times and when I finally killed the mobs and didn't explode I had to get it unstuck by ramming it with my seamoth. it took hours. TIME OF MY LIFE WAS TAKEN BY A AMPEEL, I got it on a photo on my PS5, it was dead on Cyclops camera 1, and there's now a beacon on my map called 'lost river NO CYCLOPS.' the horror of that day.. Anybody else have a grudge on ampeels?

I'm on the PS4 version! Also, if you don't want spoilers, don't look at this post, friend!
Is the Ghost Leviathan Juvenile in the Bulb Zone/Mountains corridor immune to damage other than from the knife? I just tried to kill it with the Stasis Rifle + Gas Pod combo and it just... ignored it. I dumped at least two inventory's worth of gas pods into its face. I could knife it though.
And this thing apparently has a liking for the Cyclops. I haven't lost one, but for some reason, the Ghost kind of... nuzzles the sub. No attacks, it just brushes up against it like it knows the Cyclops is there, but I'm in silent running mode. The thing followed me all the way to the Disease Research Facility before finally turning tail and running off.
Has anyone else had these issues? I haven't had any other issues with other Ghosts except for the one at the Gargantuan skull nuzzling the Cyclops too, but I could kill it. I also killed the one in the Ghost Forest or whatever that place was called with no issues.
Tbh, I am absolutely traumatized and mortified of reapers. This is mostly due to the fact I was behind the Aroura, and didn't know one was there. I was dark, and i was about to scan the cyclops fragment, when I thought I saw something. I turned and looked foreward. After a few seconds, the giant face of a Reaper emerged from the darkness and almost ate me. Now, even after killing (the same one that scared me) one, the blood still drains from my face every time I see a sillouette, shadow, or hear the roar of a reaper.
I have one but I can’t find any more in the mushroom forest and some videos I watched say that there are lots by the back of the Aurora. I’ve heard some bad things about the back of the Aurora, but the videos said that avoiding the reapers is easy. Do I go to the back of the Aurora or somewhere else?
I just noticed that the aurora only has one voice and thats at the start of the game I always wanted to have a voice in a huge vehicle like the Cyclops and I don't wanna have a crappy sea truck that takes hours to get one module I want a huge vehicle that is meant for military purposes or deep sea exploration that's a tank and nuclear powered I liked the Aurora's drive core breach thing so I say if a vehicle like a huge vehicle blows up like the Cyclops takes 3 or 5 minutes to go and the player has 3 choices option 1: abandon ship. option 2: try to save the ship. option 3: risk it and continue on without repairs and try to make it to a safe area and it works like the drive core after a period of time that area becomes a field of radiation and needs to be fixed and the idea from the Atlas submarine can be used to like a life pod launcher a sonar room, huge command deck huge engines, and etc
This would be very cool and adrenaline boosting I've always wanted a ship that's huge and a tank many rooms and like 2 or 4 ion or other powered sources engines that can visually move like the R.M.S titanic engines along with 3 moon pools and a big nuclear reactor having to have daily checks to run and be monitored by the AI or player think of the ship as a huge old main base that is mobile I think that's bad ass in my opinion
When I get to the lava zone does anyone have tips to avoid the dragon leviathan and keep my cyclops from running out of battery?
There's a Reaper Leviathan outside my cyclops.
So how's your day been?
Edit: Imma scan him. (:<
He would never use the cyclops even at the endgame where hes going to sea emperor, help.
Is it normal to never use cyclops for being "too scared" even tho they have shield generator? my friend wont go to the mountains because of reaper leviathans but i suggested to use the cyclops with shield but he declined because he thinks it will break.
Y'all are the first people ever to see a cyclops sketched on a TI-84 Plus CE Python calculator.
Is it normal for Ghost Leviathans to be SUPER hostile? I'm in the Lost River on my 2nd save, and whenever I get in my Prawnsuit from my Cyclops, The Ghost charges towards me, even if it's nowhere near me. And as of Writing this, he's camping near my base. Not letting me leave.
I don't have any photos or videos of this, since I play on the Switch.

Okay so I'm down in the lost river with the juvenile ghost levithan (I named him garry) and I'm running low on power in my cyclops and Garry will try and murder me if I leave it. Also I have no table coral to make a power cell charger and I am out of acid mushrooms for batteries. Am I screwed?
