So I have a headcannon about Bart Torgal. we know according to the cinematic trailer that Bart built a base in the safe shallows or the crash zone. Well, we know that the crash zone was a result of the aurora so what if the crash zone was the safe shallows prior to the crash and the reason why we don't find Barts last base is because the Aurora crushed it on impact?

So alien covid is all over 4546B, infecting the flora and fauna for thousands of years, it spreads fast over a couple days, the cure was never sent out because the aliens who caused and tried to fix the mess just didn't listen to the holder of the cure, three people were infected after they crashed, one drowned or was eaten, the other succumbed to the illness but Margureit? GETS DRAGGED BY SATAN HIMSELF FOR MILES, KILLS IT, SURVIVES BY USING ITS BODY AS A RAFT WHILE EATING IT, ENDS UP IN A FROZEN WASTELAND, TAMES A POLAR BEAR CROCODILE, AND IS STILL INFECTED FOR GOD KNOWS HOW LONG UNTIL A JANITOR RELEASES THE CURE! What is this woman!? Did she WILL the Kharaa out of her!? It is baffling! AND LOOK HOW OLD SHE IS! Her immune system is not what it used to be! and she was attacked by a reaper! there's no way she got out unscathed, her body can't heal and fight bacteria at the same time! Something is up with that woman...

This is highly important as I have to build the P.R.A.W.N Suit to get to the Proposed Degasi Base.

What is that? I can hear something, something is calling, something is drawing my mind to its distant sound. Someone is there, but who?
Perhaps the people that came from above are making the noise, perhaps they are luring me away, but it doesn't feel right. Something seems off, something isn't accurate.
Maybe I will go to shreik and sammy, perhaps they are hearing the call.
I travel to the lost river canyon and find shreik, I think he heard it too.

He has, Shreik has heard it too, I tell him that I think we should travel beyond the safe place we call home and journey to the grand reef. Shreik doesen't want to go because he thinks its a trap. I ignore him and talk to Sammy.
I talk to Sammy using an ecolocation signal, we have been doing it like this since we were kids.

He didn't even hear the call, he isn't coming either.
Well, nobody wants to come with me, I guess I'm going alone. So I gather myself together and set off for the deep grand reef. It's been a while since I last went there but its all nostalgic. I am at the origin of the call, I can see a metal base and something else. Others responded to the call, other Ghost leviathans. I can tell by size and looks that they are all alpha class. Then I finally turn to face it, the origin of the call. It's him, it's the titan, and he has called us all to compete.
We are competing for the role of Titan.....
Guys I hope you enjoy I will make another part, @Anuraag15 and @crashspyrocuphead will potentially make there P.O.V on this story.

If the Degasi crew never got wet, would they have been able to disable the QEP?
The PDA described "waterborne" bacteria, and since they stayed in a lifepod until they drifted to the island, lets say the lifepod naturally floated and beached itself on the island without the help of the survivors. If they made some kind of boat (illegal, I know), would they have been able to access the other island and stay healthy?
Lets say only one of them went to salvage the Degasi, and for some reason didnt come in contact with the other two.

What if the Degasi landed in the sparse reef? There is evidence to prove this idea. There is one large wreck in the sparse reef, that is rather cube-like. In the data downloads, the Degasi survivors say that they stripped their ship down for resources. The very cube-like structure of the large wreck, it is possible that this is part of the Degasi, and was cut at for resources. The colors on the wreck match updd as well (wreck and degasi pictured at bottom). The Degasi had many orange lines, and on the rear section, grey sections near these lines. This wreck could be part of the rear section. Furthermore, the sparse reef has, for a reason the PDA cannot determine, very little fauna/flora diversity, and overall less fauna/flora than many other biomes. This was most likely caused by the Degasi crash landing. You may say, however, that the sparse reef is much smaller than the crash zone. The Degasi was smaller than the aurora, and crashed roughly a decade before the events of the game, along with the Degasi survivors removing all important parts of the ship(probably including the radiating core), the edges of the biomes have begun to grow back. The sparse reef’s ecosystem was probably created by the lasting radiation and pressure waves making it only suitable to a few plants(like eyestalks) for a while(though long enough for a main ecosystem to develop). Although the floating island cannot be seen from the sparse reef, the existence of skyrays allowed the survivors to deduce the presence of land and follow a skyray to it. The wreck in the reef was probably left due to running out of food supplies and electricity. As for oxygen, the Degasi probably had some sort of transport, as they wouldn’t have gotten to the grand reef or even the jellyshroom caves without one, and they had a fully equipped ship, not just a life pod(like the aurora survivors) to work with. They could probably surface every now and then for oxygen, and/or recharge whatever vehicle they had(most likely a prawn suit, due to fragments around the wreck) from the Degasi’s power(there are sparks in the wreck) when need be. Although this story/theory is most likely not intended by the developers, it is an interesting one to think of nonetheless.

In the different voicelogs found in the Degasi seabases in one they talk about how Marguareit found a injured leviathan and brought it to the base..
In a later dialogue they argue about the posibility of another leviathan coming to help its injured friend, then a creature roars like a reaper but not quite the same and destroys the base. In the final log Paul Torgal describes the creature as larger than a cyclops and with tentacles like a kraken, then he states that Marguareit stabed the monster in the neck making it flee.
I don't think it could be a reaper just because the description Paul gives, it could be a sea dragon because this happened in the deep grand reef and could have gone through the lost river.
What do you think?

Where to find the cuddlefish eggs : In the Degasi Seabase in Deep Grand Reef, In the giant tree of the Northern Mushroom Forest, Dunes Sinkhole, Lost River Laboratory, Mushroom Forest Caves.
How to find islands : Look at the horizon. There’s gonna be fog at two different place. One at north and one at south. The south is the Floating Island, the North is the Mountain Island.
How to kill annoying creatures : use a repulsion cannon for small creature like Stalkers and Sandshark, for Leviathan use the Stasis Rifle and the knife, then hit it.
Water and Food and Oxygen : The most nutritive fish is the Peeper, it give you 32% of your food and 12% of your water. For the water, use the coral sample and the salt to craft bleach, then go to « water » and « disinfected water ». For Oxygen, eat Bladderfish. It give you 15 oxygen points. Only available on survival and hardcore.
How to dodge the Reaper-Leviathan : When it charge you, go up and go forward and go down, and finally backside. Then repeat this action until it gives up.

So i fond out how to fix the degasi sea bases! here is how. (note that it needs the console) (i did this on Xbox one, so it might not work for all platforms)
Step one: Tipe "entreset" into the console,to reload all assets but terrain
Step two: while it reloads, place part of a habitat where the degasi base was, and the degasi base shall most likely not load.
Step three: now you can bild a new base, fix the degasi base, remove it,or some thing else! however, apon reloading the area, the degasi base will be back where it originely was. this can be fixt however by reapetig step one and two.
