Floating Island

So one time I was playing Subnautica and I was going to the floating island, when I went too fast and ended up beaching my Seamoth. I later ran through the island, ran into some Blood Crawlers, went faster, ran into a horde of Blood Crawlers, proceeded to scream like a small child, kept running, made it to one of the Degasi bases, scanned everything, got the blueprint for the Multipurpose Room and Stasis Rifle, ran back to my Seamoth, realized it was permanently stuck, then Seaglided all the way back home. On the bright side at least, I now have a permanent beacon on the floating island.

I would like to have railings for my foundations on an island base but have not been able to find a good way to and if there is not a way I guess i'll just deal with it.

Basically Just Twist Bridges Merged With The Floating Island, But There Are Many Dangerous Creatures Too, It Is Also Really Easy To Build A Base There, Because It Is Very Large

Fauna: Camouflage Crawlers (Like Cave Crawlers But Harder To See)

Bridge Monkeys (MONKE But They Can Jumpscare The Player When They Are Below The Bridges Of The Island)

And The Corpse Deer (The Only Passive Fauna On The Island, It Takes 20 Hits From A Knife To Kill It)

Description Of The Base: Considering The Name Of The Base, The Owner Probably Went Insane

Other Stuff About The Base: You Can Hear Whispering And Noises From A Vent, You Can Also Hear An Air Purifier And The Whispers Get Louder The Longer You Stay, Also You Could Turn Off The Purifier, But That Would Be Very Stupid Considering The Amount Of Aggressive Fauna

Base Events: The Lights Could Go Out From Time To Time

Other Stuff About The Island: When You Enter, It Gets Intensely Dark, And It Is Very Creepy, Also Very Risky To Enter But Probably Worth The Risk For Upgraded Items

*while the player is at the research base in the floating island he hears a hatch open and slides down the ladder to find a Raven agent with armor, the agent kicks him on the ground*

Player: that isn’t enough to stop me

The “agent”: I think it is

*he bring out a gun and tries to shoot player but he dodges it by getting up fast, and jumping to the side*

Player: ha! You cant make a shot

*the player kicks and knocks the “agent” unconscious*

Player: there should be more…

*another agent goes in from behind but the player punches the “agent” and throws him onto the floor*

Player: I should get out of here

*the player opens the hatch and slides out then drives his seamoth to the skybase*

*a notification goes on the players PDA*

Player: that’s a fast footage… makes sense that it’s fast, it’s 4546B and the tech of Alterra… amazing…

*he sees the footage*

Player: (bleep)

*the player climbs onto the skybase and finds out there is a sign

PDA: there is a sign, that reads meet us at the mountains, we have Ryley, they also say in small words, and we have your Cuddlefish

*the player dives into the water and grabs onto his Seamoth*

(5 minutes later because the skybase was a bit far from the mountains)

*the player gets in a prawn suit and takes off the drill arm and then grapples next to the sand, and gets out*

*the player swims down, finds a base, opens a hatch into a Red seabase hidden underwater below the gun then goes inside*

Player: Wait… this is the first time I’m alone in times like now… of course I was alone the first time and had a LOT of space being alone… but wow…

Radio: Captain, you have received a message.

Player: Ok…

*the player plays the message that seems to be live*

Sunbeam: hey… you there? It’s me… sunbeam

Player: hey… don’t come here… there are people trying to kill all of Alterra just because of all our research… to steal it… and one big gun…

Sunbeam: ok… we will orbit the planet right outside of the gun’s sensor… and we will use the scans… sonar… and Ryley might have almost got me killed…

Player: really? Wow… anyways… don’t come here, stay out of the gun sensors… bye…

*the Player goes onto the surface and Gets out of his Prawn Suit*

Player: Huh? This isn’t the mountains… or the floating one…

*he heads toward a dead end, then hears beeping*

Player: is that beeping-

*the player tries to get away from the explosion and the bomb explodes causing the knife to fall out of the players pocket and stab him in the arm*

Player: AGH, I might be able to patch this up…

*the player pulls out the knife and uses a first aid kit*

???: who are…

*(REDACTED) pulls out a gun but the player kicks him into the water most likely making him pass out*

Player: Ok… is that… those are weapons… I should take them before anybody tries to kill me… and Ryley…

*he takes the weapons and brings them to the base*

The Cove TreeOne of the coolest places in the game! Lots of materials, and close to the lava zone. No predators and a great view of the cove tree. is very deep, so you need a cyclops or prawn to get there.

The Floating IslandThe floating island has no predators. It provides a nice place to build in, but has few materials so you have to bring your own. Close to Degasi bases and has lots of trees for food.

Jellyshroom CavesWith lots of loot for you to build with, and an amazing view, this is a grat place. Add on a place for thermal power generators and you have a great base. watch out for crabsnakes!

Kelp ForrestGreat for loot and a cool view. Does have stalkers to bite you in the butt. Good place to charge up with solar power :)

Mushroom ForrestBuilding in the trees is very cool. It also allows you to get solar power easily! Is close to a warp gate as well to use. Great view!

Me and my cousin were searching for Sea Threather path. We reached the floating island and decided to continue south-west. We were in grand reef for a long time, until we found out that we were in void (we had the F1 window open). So my cousin paused the game and asked me

- Hey, what is void? (Cousin)

- Idk, let me google it...Dead zone or crater edge was originally called Void (me)

-It was this moment when we knew we ****** up.

Can someone please tell me where the floating island.

I went to the floating island and got BOTH stasis rifle fragments I need to make it. I got back to my lifepod and look at how to make it, and I need MAGNETITE? WTF IS MAGNETITE AND HOW DO I GET IT?

I accidentally beached my seamoth on the floating island and can no longer see it. I see the beacon for it though. Any thoughts to get it back or fix this? Not a big deal as I can make a new one and have enough resources to re-equip it, just weird that it’s gone invisible.
