Hatch (Subnautica)

*while the player is at the research base in the floating island he hears a hatch open and slides down the ladder to find a Raven agent with armor, the agent kicks him on the ground*

Player: that isn’t enough to stop me

The “agent”: I think it is

*he bring out a gun and tries to shoot player but he dodges it by getting up fast, and jumping to the side*

Player: ha! You cant make a shot

*the player kicks and knocks the “agent” unconscious*

Player: there should be more…

*another agent goes in from behind but the player punches the “agent” and throws him onto the floor*

Player: I should get out of here

*the player opens the hatch and slides out then drives his seamoth to the skybase*

*five hours after building the base*

Player: atleast I got the base

PDA: self scan complete bacterial infection detected, continuing to monitor

Player: what? I never did a self scan

Habitat: warning, hull breach detected.

*the habitat breaks in half, bringing in a flood, that is filling up intensely fast*

*the player runs toward a bulkhead door behind him to close it*

Player: I’m gonna have to seal it… and replace the door with a hatch

*the player takes out the builder and deconstructs the room, finally replacing the door with a hatch*

PDA: warning, highly lethal signature detected, checking the cameras is recommended.

*the cameras are busted*

PDA: warning, signature has gotten significantly closer, evacuation recommended

*the base is flooding*

The player: WHAT WAS THAT

*the player slowly notices it was an unidentified crashfish like creature*
