Neptune Escape Rocket

Ik nobody cares but, i started playing in 2020, took a 3.9 year break, and finished it just then and feeling proud of myself. what a hell of a game

I felt sad to leave my stuff behind: the faithful Cyclops, the reliable Seamoth, even the dextrous P.R.A.W.N.

Here's to new adventures, and uncovering unfound artifacts.

Next up...Survival.

I just got the blueprint for the hatching enzymes, all i need to do now is A LOT of crafting

I was going to try to beat the game today, but the rocket takes way to much stuff to build, I wouldn't be able to finish

All i need for the enzymes is the mushroom tree samples, sea crowns, and bulb bush samples

Finished Subnautica for the first time! :D total time I took was 47 hours 51 minutes, mode Survival. Probably a pretty bad time but it was only the first playthrough. My rating, 10/10, amazing game. (yes ik no one asked for this post but I’m just happy about finishing it for the first time)

I can’t believe it! I survived hardcore- oh we are on the log, sorry… anyways I built the rocket… the process? I ALMOST DIED 15 TIMES EVEN WITH 2 VEHICLES But, on hardcore? Don’t even ask… IT WAS INSANE

Statistics:

Near Death Experiences: 22

Deaths: 0 (it’s hardcore)

Kills (For Food Or if they are too deadly): 44

Items: Reinforced Dive Suit, Radiation Suit, Knife, Scanner, Repair tool, Laser Cutter, Pathfinder, Thermoblade, Hardened Blade (you can find it even if it was cut from the game the chances are Low but you can get it), Seaglide, Waterproof Locker, Habitat Builder (DUH), Mobile Vehicle Bay, ect.

Player: Let’s ready the rocket

Riley: right ahead of you, launch in 3, 2, 1

*the rocket Launches*

Player (on the radio): This is Alterra Vessel Mercury I, we have been shot down and half of the crew might be dead, we can get out, but that will take a day or 2…

Riley: So who are you?

Player: Does that really matter? I have blueprints for the Neptune Escape Rocket, you know? That destroyed pad, near the Aurora…

Riley: I saw it, I explored it, I scanned it

Player: ok? Here’s something you might need

*the player throws a Propulsion Canon at Riley, then he catches it*

Riley: this looks, weird…

Player: and you worked at Alterra for years…

Riley: as a janitor

Player: I know your not a janitor, though

Riley: let’s just disable the gun…

*they go to the gun, in a cyclops, as it holds multiple people and arrive, go to the terminal and disable it for what feels like the 1,000th time*

Player: Finally, we can get out…

Riley: I saw a Reaper in the Gun’s Moonpool

*the player takes out a gun, as given permission to use firearms with Alterra*

Player: that isn’t a problem…

*the player heads into the aurora again (yes this was never mentioned that he repaired the drive core)*

Player: ok, time to open the captains room… the code was 9762, 2679 YEAH 2679

*the player walks to the captains quarters and enters the code*

Player: ok time to get the blueprints And… oh this looks cool

*the player takes the blueprints and the Aurora Miniature*

*he makes the rocket with no problem, due to the lockers having everything he needed in case (he got intensely lucky) and instead of saying farewell to his cuddlefish, he grabs it again (HE DEFIED THE LAWS OF SUB-PHYSICS?) and puts it in the locker of the rocket along with the Aurora Miniature to play with, after filling the locker with water and closing it in time*

(The time capsule has his base coordinates and the aurora picture, plus a few diamonds)

Player: I can’t believe I can get off of this planet.., I am gonna miss that Big Sea creature though… oh wait it’s the sea emperor

*the player launches the rocket*

My friend nick can’t get the Neptune blueprint and all he needs is that blueprint any help?

I can’t fix a bug where I can’t pick the Neptune rocket blueprint up

The ending was AWESOME!! Also, if you are out hunting for Time capsules, this is what mine says: Barf on!, and has a pic of a baby Sea Emperor. :)

Quick question: can one move the Neptune launching platform? I constructed it too close to the Aurora and I always have radiation while I'm working on the platform itself and it's a real annoyance
