Prawn Suit (Subnautica)

I was in the primary containment facility when after activating one of the arches my prawn suit got obliterated by nothing, and all i saw was just tentecles of what seemed to be a sea dragon. i was inside the containment facility, it oneshot my prawn suit at 89 health how???

Try piloting the prawn suit all the way from spawn to the bk trench, down into the lost river, to the tree cove, to the ILZ, and finally to the lava lakes and to the bottom of the Emperor's tank and then ALL THE WAY BACK. Bonus points of you do it from experience without watching a tutorial/having beacons.

(I've done it before so its very possible just a bit time-consuming)

Ofc you have the grappling arm, storage, jetpack and engine efficiency upgrades

Hello again fellow wikiers; the dps values have been confusing on the prawn suit page, showing 50/s; it doesn't say if one or 2 arms, held down or single hit, and overall was rlly vague

So i've went in-game and tested the prawn suit's claw arms. They do:

• 50 damage per jab with ONE ARM.

• Around 1 jab per second.

• Therefore the dps with ONE ARM is 50/s.

• Two arms do double the damage, equating to 100/s.

But yea hope that helps.

How much damage does the punchign arm dish out, and how does it compare to the thermoblade?

Yall might not have noticed but the prawn suit is actually 4 meters tall and 2 meters wide. now THAT's massive.

It seems like the prawn could go to the primary containment facility with only MK1.

IT'S SO ANNOYING

Mine are:

Seamoth is shadow (black with dark blue interior)

Prawn is reaper (dark red with black/blue interior)

Cyclops is leviathan (green with dark red)

I just now realized the order i named them in made shadow reaper leviathan

(it should not exist)

I attempted to kill a reaper with a prawn suit

As you can see, it didn't go very well

First time here, but I love the game! Doing my first playthrough on SWITCH, and I'm close to beating the game. Just have to upgrade my Prawn a little more, and explore the Magma Zone, find the Thermal Plant, and beat the game.

Any tips?

I’m in the lost river trying to pick up the sulfur for an upgrade. It says to press RT but it just shoots my grappleshot at it. I’m in the toxic goop so I can’t get out.

I never liked the the prawn suit until I tried in BZ. When tried it I went back to the first game and complete with the prawn suit.

If your Prawn Suit ever gets stuck while your in an alien base, if you blast it with the stasis rifle, get back in, and spam the thrusters your able to get un-stuck

There is probably other ways to get in un-stuck, but this one works pretty well

Note: you probably don't have to use the stasis rifle, but that's the only way I can get it to work

I was coming through a portal in the containment facility in my PRAWN when i fell through the floor. I landed in a trench in the containment tank, but my PRAWN still acts like its on land and i can't get out. Is there anyway i could teleport my prawn out or reset it?

I managed to get out of the hole, but feel free to comment if you have any solutions.

Hull reinforcement modules for the PRAWN and Seamoth will NOT protect from creature attacks, just collision with the terrain. Or if you crash into a creature, I suppose. It will not defend your Seamoth or PRAWN from being attacked by a reaper, boneshark, ampeel, or any other fauna. The only thing it does is lessen collision damage, and collision damage only, for the seamoth by 50% for one, and for each consecutive hull reinforcement there is diminishing returns, making it impossible to get complete collision damage immunity. Feel free to test this if you want, get your PRAWN or Seamoth with no upgrades and get a reaper to chew on it, and do it a few times to get an average, then fill the upgrades with hull reinforcements and do the same thing a few times to get an average, and they should be about the same. They may be a few damage different, as the damage applied is usually pretty random, but it's safe to say they should be pretty close on average, with or without hull reinforcements.
