PDA: detected Massive explosion warning, Estimated time for hideout, 10 seconds

*hatch opens*

PDA: 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1-

*an explosion happens flooding half of the entire seabase in less than a half-second*

Player: WE NEED TO REPAIR IT

*they repair the base and the glass starts to crack, eventually falling off, destroying the base entirely*

Player: luck? NOPE

If you open the PDA and then as soon as you close it, enter a seamoth/prawn suit then you can use the tool inside the vehicle. the only tools that work with this glitch are the laser cutter and repair tool

Using the repair tool you can take your seamoth/prawn suit down to deeper depths by using repair tool inside the vehicle

I used this to get into the lava zone with my seamoth but i couldn't find the thermal plant

Also, you can glitch through the first door of the primary containment facility by driving your seamoth through. this lets you swim inside the first room but you cant glitch into the aquarium with this

Riley: so we are back?

Player: yeah… hope I can find one of my bases, and NOT see them wasted like the Degasi, Oh and I forgot…

*Player throws a Cuddlefish into the water*

Riley: HOW LONG DID YOU HAVE THAT?

Player: Doesnt… Matter

Riley: ok… but I’m confused

Player: let’s just focus on the main objective… shutting down the thermal plant… because is I remember anything it’s that you can still shut it down, like the gun…

Riley: ok, how do we do this because last time i was here my PDA never said how

Player: I got the way to shut it down… by destroying it, we have some torpedos for a seamoth right?

Riley: yeah

*Riley throws a highly explosive torpedo at Player, as the Player catches it*

Player: There are 5, that’s good

Riley: ok… time to destroy the “plant”

Player: we’re going with the cyclops first… and apparently the Seamoth can’t stand the depth, but who cares? Just use a repair tool…

Riley: yeah…

(PART IDK COMES OUT IDK)

Player: hey, we have coordinates for the exit, it’s close to the gun though… but it looks deactivated, going in now…

*Riley goes to the landing site, along with the player arriving to noticed it keep activating itself*

Player: wait a minute… it tha- no, No, NO, NO!

Riley: ITS CHARGING UP

Player: SPEED BOOST ACTIVE, DODGE THE BE-

*the ship gets shot down by the Quarantine Enforcement Platform, Almost killing everybody on board*

Player, without Comms active: activate emergency power, land the ship!

*the ship lands in the shallows luckily saving most of the people*

Riley: phew,

Player: it’s flooding…

*the ship gets repaired but can’t get out*

*the player does a self scan*

PDA: self scan complete, vital signs normal, Quarantine Enforcement Platform has been reactivated after numerous attempts to turn it off, although deactivated, somebody has tried to turn it off, and turned it back on, you should be able to disable it, because of being cured twice of Kharaa

Player: that was long… anyway let’s deactivate it (part… idk comes out in a few hours, when the sun rises, ITS NIGHT HERE

10 hours after the explosion of the aurora and 14 hours after the base explosion

Player: I should probably build a base… instead of living in the lifepod

5 minutes later

PDA: You have now constructed a base in the shallow creepvine forest

Player: let’s hope this goes good

Habitat: power restored, 1 system offline

Player: what? 1 system offline?

PDA: it is normal to experience temporary blackouts, Moonpool floods, and bulkhead failures, but oddly enough, the bulkhead does not need energy.

Player: that should be good for now…

I was in my cyclops going to the bulb zone, but on my way I was attacked by a reaper and then by some ampeels. When I got out to repair the damages, there was two holes I couldn’t fix. Do you know why ? I had 100% battery on my repair tool.

1 depth mods reinforce the hull: I'm actually not sure if this is already a thing but it would be very interesting. the depth mod reinforces the hull with the materials you used to make it this is to help sustain the hull from the pressure of the water but it would also be interesting if this also protected the seamoth, prawn or cyclops from fauna and geological hits.

2:hull degrading: this would be a VERY interesting mechanic and would make sense the repair tool uses fabricator technologies to take the remaining material and put it back where it was. the degrading comes in because every time you get hit more and more material sheds off and when you repair that damage putting the material back in place, there will be less material meaning the bonds and mends of the hull would be more vulnerable to major damage as the strength of the hull was weakened. so you would take more damage. i think something that could counter act that would be a tool that adds material back onto the hull. this would be tedious though.

One more time it happened that I can't repair a door on the ship's wreck (and therefore to loot its riches). There is no text, there is no result... 8 hours of gameplay wasted for nothing...

Is there a solution for this bug? Can't find anything
