Seabases (Subnautica)

Do anyone have suggestions for a safe base location on the surface with easy (and relatively safe) access to the lost river with the cyclops. On a different note, is the ghost forest entrance from nothern blood kelp zone easy to navigate trough with the cyclops

What would be the best place where build the base i was thinkimg the "degli island" but I'm not sure, any suggestion? (Sorry for my English I'm Italian)

Ok so here begins the story.

I went into the crash zone to get cyclops engine fragments and a reaper followed me back to my base.

This reaper has been named Jerry.

He won’t leave and I’ve tried leading him away with my seamoth, it didn’t work.

Im planning on killing him if I can but if there any other way to get rid of him?

I know this is a fairly common question but I'd like some advice from some more experienced players. I usually put my first base in safe shallows but is there any other biomes/specific locations you can recommend? Thanks. By the way, I don't really care about spoilers since I have already been spoiled for a lot of things lol.

The Player Crashes on 4546B,

The player makes equipment, along with blueprints,

The player repairs the radio,

The player gets Sunbeam’s attention, but he gets blocked by a debris field,

He finds the gun by accident, and fails to disable it, but self scanned, only to notice the gun didn’t vaccinate him

The player builds a base

The player goes to the disease research facility, luckily he had gloves lol

The player repairs the drive core

The player makes hatching enzymes and holds onto them after getting the rocket blueprints

The player cures himself, then the sea emperor dies but the player disables the gun and launches the rocket

NEXT

The player returns but goes to below zero with the help of sunbeam, but he leaves sector zero and gets trapped on the original crater, and leaves,

NEXT

The player received Ryley’s distress call and escapes with him after he tries to rescue Ryley

NEXT

They return with Ryley, along with them leaving afterwards

NEXT

They go in the 3rd aurora, and crash, then repeats escaping AGAIN

NEXT

They comes back and the 4th Aurora crashes and Anthony was in it, then The player gets a distress signal Anthony made, but they first got the PDA saying they detected a 3rd human life sign and Raven agents tried to kill all of them,

The Player does research, but the Raven agents kidnap Anthony thinking he is Ryley, and Ryley is knocked out, and they also stole the players Cuddlefish

The player finds another island, that has ice…

Whats the emergency power's purpose if it wont produce oxygen?! its literally emergency power! why isnt it for oxygen?!

*while the player is at the research base in the floating island he hears a hatch open and slides down the ladder to find a Raven agent with armor, the agent kicks him on the ground*

Player: that isn’t enough to stop me

The “agent”: I think it is

*he bring out a gun and tries to shoot player but he dodges it by getting up fast, and jumping to the side*

Player: ha! You cant make a shot

*the player kicks and knocks the “agent” unconscious*

Player: there should be more…

*another agent goes in from behind but the player punches the “agent” and throws him onto the floor*

Player: I should get out of here

*the player opens the hatch and slides out then drives his seamoth to the skybase*

*a notification goes on the players PDA*

Player: that’s a fast footage… makes sense that it’s fast, it’s 4546B and the tech of Alterra… amazing…

*he sees the footage*

Player: (bleep)

*the player climbs onto the skybase and finds out there is a sign

PDA: there is a sign, that reads meet us at the mountains, we have Ryley, they also say in small words, and we have your Cuddlefish

*the player dives into the water and grabs onto his Seamoth*

(5 minutes later because the skybase was a bit far from the mountains)

*the player gets in a prawn suit and takes off the drill arm and then grapples next to the sand, and gets out*

*the player swims down, finds a base, opens a hatch into a Red seabase hidden underwater below the gun then goes inside*

The Primary Investigation Base With the topic of the unknown world you are stranded on, investigations: Degasi Theories, the Alien gun, how life even ceases to exists, The aurora’s mission on the Degasi SO MUCH MORE

*While Ryley is left with Anthony, and the Raven “Agents” are breaching the skybase the player left to do research of the guns, and everything else there*

Player: Wait… this is the first time I’m alone in times like now… of course I was alone the first time and had a LOT of space being alone… but wow…

Radio: Captain, you have received a message.

Player: Ok…

*the player plays the message that seems to be live*

Sunbeam: hey… you there? It’s me… sunbeam

Player: hey… don’t come here… there are people trying to kill all of Alterra just because of all our research… to steal it… and one big gun…

Sunbeam: ok… we will orbit the planet right outside of the gun’s sensor… and we will use the scans… sonar… and Ryley might have almost got me killed…

Player: really? Wow… anyways… don’t come here, stay out of the gun sensors… bye…

In the year 2037, the Canadian government is testing their latest super-weapon, the Wormhole Cannon. On August 4th, 2037, they tested the WC in the pacific ocean, but unfortunately it didn't go as planned. Once the WC fired it landed in the exact spot where it's supposed to, but it opened a wormhole that sent a shockwave throughout the world, making sea creatures from a different version of Earth. Later, the shockwave made the Philippines sink to the bottom of the ocean, killing almost everyone in the continent.

Later in the pacific ocean, a submarine known as The Aurora is attacked and nearly destroyed by a 315-Meter-long Serpent. After most of the crew is evacuated off the ship, The Aurora explodes, leaving only a rusty husk of what it used to be.

A survivor named Steve gets out and starts exploring the ocean after gathering the tools and materials left in the lifepod. A few minutes after exploring and gathering materials, Steve watches multiple creatures swim around before he is distracted by Gasopods spraying at something behind them that looks like a giant turtle.

Steve: "Yeah... I'm going along with them as well."

Later, after he escaped the ambush he scanned the giant turtle and no results came up. 5 minutes later and he finds the seabase that was built just for this occasion and takes shelter in it.

In the Vancouver Island, Canada, a group of 10 orcas are challenging the Reaper Leviathan. Later on, the Reaper Leviathan kills off most of the orcas and the rest Swim away in terror along with the other wildlife.

Player: Who would imagine a sky base being better… I get a full view!

*Ryley then gets pushed into the water and almost hits the lifepod*

Player: YOU?

*the player kicks (REDACTED) into the multipurpose room built on the skybase*

Ryley: What do we Do?

Player: find whatever Fauna could have done it and kill it

Ryley: but why would we murder and innocent-

Player: Murderous

Ryley: Creature?

Player: Wait…

PDA: detected Massive explosion warning, Estimated time for hideout, 10 seconds

*hatch opens*

PDA: 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1-

*an explosion happens flooding half of the entire seabase in less than a half-second*

Player: WE NEED TO REPAIR IT

*they repair the base and the glass starts to crack, eventually falling off, destroying the base entirely*

Player: luck? NOPE

Player: You see that? That’s a Peeper

Riley: it’s funny I never saw the databank entry for-

*the Aurora explodes, and the last half remaining falls into the planet*

(50 minutes later)

*Player Wakes up*

Player: ugh again? WHY? WE DIABLED THE PLATFORM 40 TIMES

*Riley Wakes up and goes to the Platform with Player only to notice the Platform has been destroyed confusing them both*

Player: What? *sigh* let’s find a way out of here

Riley: Ok…

*they go to the seabase, Somehow still intact*

Player: wow, 5 years I think…

Riley: yeah

Habitat: POWER SYSTEM CUT, CAUSE UNKNOWN, DETECTED ELECTRICAL WIRES CUT, FLOOD DETECTE- *explosion*

Player: wow, *sigh* This isn’t going so good…

So I start this log in day 9, does it matter? Anyways, I built an aquarium and a lot of stuff in my base, I got a Cuddlefish egg then returned to base Near Jellyshroom Caves, I started the Sunbeam Story On Day 7, odd, and I also got my first flood while parking my cyclops into a large amont of foundations, I crashed into my Cuddlefish more than 3 times, worrying me everytime, because it was my first one, luckily it never died, thank the developers for the health Amounts, I got and made most blueprints within day 5 - 7 i also made a few other nearby bases for any possible flood, but my main base is the biggest one (I ALSO CURED MYSELF ON DAY 8) Next days come out when I get far enough
