Seaglide (Subnautica)

Im here today to present you guys with a useful glitch with the seaglide that allows you to effectively go faster than anything else. if this has already been reported or something else then sorry, but i discovered it when my base was flooded, i held my seaglide and then went out the moonpool, then i went about twice the speed of a seamoth. ive never seen anything go faster than this other than a warper, and it has one downside. getting into a non flooded base fixes it, and going above water fixes it. getting in vehicles is ok though. and going right below the surface you can still get air. only 2 things this bug requires is like a moonpool (or tube with hatch idk) and a seaglide. i can comfortably go a kilometer away in about 30 seconds. and if its ever too fast just equip something different then go back when u need speed again

So I start this log in day 9, does it matter? Anyways, I built an aquarium and a lot of stuff in my base, I got a Cuddlefish egg then returned to base Near Jellyshroom Caves, I started the Sunbeam Story On Day 7, odd, and I also got my first flood while parking my cyclops into a large amont of foundations, I crashed into my Cuddlefish more than 3 times, worrying me everytime, because it was my first one, luckily it never died, thank the developers for the health Amounts, I got and made most blueprints within day 5 - 7 i also made a few other nearby bases for any possible flood, but my main base is the biggest one (I ALSO CURED MYSELF ON DAY 8) Next days come out when I get far enough

Player: they rebuilt the Aurora? And it crashed? Again?!! *sigh* Get the ship, even if it takes a day

Player: This is Alterra Vessel Mercury I, Shut down when Mercury II started, back up when it went missing… THATS NOT IMPORTANT, we have tracked the signal, I’ve been there before, I disabled the gun, we will bring you home, trust me… we are close so we will be there is 5 hours… keep an eye out, long range scans Picks up a lot of activity, it should work though, we’ll send a package of items, stasis rifle, knife, scanner, laser cutter, everything you DONT have, see you tomorrow… maybe…

Can you get to the cove tree from the surface without a vehicle or super seaglide glitch

I’m always amazed when somebody asks which vehicle is best. My response is always that it depends on where you are in the game. Different vehicles have different uses and thus none is better than the rest (except maybe Cyclops).

SeaGlide - technically it isn’t a vehicle

• Advantages: You get it early and it is useful through the entire game. No depth restrictions. With swim charge fins it will charge the battery while moving. You can carry it in your inventory and pull it out any time. You can use it inside very tight spaces.

• Disadvantages: No onboard storage. No onboard oxygen generation. No onboard defenses.

Seamoth

• Advantages: It is the fastest vehicle in the game and can outrun creatures that threaten it. The solar generator means you never run out of power. Upgradeable onboard storage. Best vehicle through most of the game after you build it.

• Disadvantages: Crush depth of 900 meters means it can only get as far down as the Lost River then you leave it at home for the rest of the game. Warpers can teleport you out of it. Have to get out to do anything. Cannot access resources from inside.

Prawn Suit

• Advantages: Configurable arms. Can reach the lowest depths on the map. Only way to mine large deposits. Best vehicle very late in the game. Can defend itself against creatures. Can put resources into storage without leaving vehicle.

• Disadvantages: Slow. Travels on the bottom with limited ability to go up. Can get stuck in caves. No ability to regenerate power until very late in the game. Warpers can teleport you out of it.

Cyclops

• Advantages: It is a mobile base with massive amounts of storage capacity. Can place most base items inside including plants, fabricator, etc. What it cannot carry you can take the resources with you and build when you stop. Can transport another vehicle. Very few creatures can damage it. Warpers cannot touch you inside. Can reach the deepest depths in the game.

• Disadvantages: No ability to regenerate power until very late into the game. Cannot maneuver through shallow water. Some areas are very difficult, if not impossible, to take it into.

So the wiki says the Seaglide flashlight doesn’t take charge but I was testing it in the Aurora and the battery went down. Probably just me being stupid but...

I don’t have seamoth or anything like that yet, just a seaglide so I hope there’s an easy route via swimming/seaglide (with having to deal with reapers or ghosts if possible)

So where should I go first. I also should probably mention that I have no vehicles, only a seaglide. I SWEAR TO GOD, IF SOMEONE SAYS VOID I WILL LOSE IT
