I found mods but don't know how to make them work. A mods option doesn't show up in the menu.

I just finished Subnautica on Freedom mode for something like the 5th time, and I think I wanna try survival. What do you think?

For me it's Lifepod 17. The radio transmition is so Iconic because of it being rather early in the game as well as Ozzy's voice lines. It also leads the player to the jellyshroom caves, one of the first dangerous biomes to the player.
Really, let me explain myself, what happens when you start in subnautica?, right, BIG F SHIP, you try to go there, PUM radiation, you try to go deeper? "oxigen"-pda. got a prawn?, PUM arms are in dangerous biomes, seamoth? nah it dies at lost river, cyclops? kinda hard to drive, go to lava zone?, F. BIG DRAGON that can evaporate your prawn, so now you go full stealth, and PUM, you now have to explore half of the ULTRA DANGEROUS BIOMES to get the cure, and then build a big ship, in bz half of the craft can be found in safe biomes and there are only like 9 leviathans (counting ice worm) and all of them are easy to evade (except shadow they scare the f out of me but it's easy to evade if you know it's patrol range) and YOU CAN GET THE PRAWN EVEN BEFORE GETTING THE SEATRUCK LOL (hell i did) it's actually easier to do almost all things, so yes, except the shadow leviathan, i think bz is WAY easier than subnautica (also if you add mods in both of them they are easier but in bz it kinda insta pass the game like the freeze ray lol)
Why i wrote too much? i'm bored at 12:21a.m. and just killed a chelicerate
Just completed a run of Subnautica in which I never built the Cyclops. It turned out to be easy until it was impossible.
There are three purposes for which I've driven the Cyclops around. Carrying the stuff for a new base, bringing vehicles to the Tree Cove (I like to build a base there), and carrying the Prawn into the lava zones.
Eliminating the first was mildly challenging. I cleared my inventory and carried starter supplies to get new bases built, then built them out using mostly local materials. I typically had to make a second trip for the seeds, but could have done without that. Most of the running back was just for stuff I'd forgotten, which wasn't the fault of having no Cyclops.
The second was tricky, but I found that three well-placed Exterior Growbeds full of Brain Coral were enough to get me from the Tree Cove to the top of the Blood Kelp Trench via Seaglide, and I had a base there already. So I could just make two trips for my two vehicles, and it also made the Lost River generally easier to explore.
As for the lava zones, the Thermal Reactor and Jump Jets made traversing them by Prawn alone much easier than trying to lumber around in the Cyclops. I slipped right between all the Lava Larvae and walked under the Sea Dragon's nose.
Unfortunately, after pretty much beating the game without ever building the Cyclops, I had to build one anyway just to fabricate the shield generator for the Neptune. Ah well. Maybe I should have put a spare in the Time Capsule.
If Reapers had a Rival it'd be a badass survivalist who only trusts his Therma and the rising tide of violence! they attacked the Cyclops with a big Kaboom! but I became their master don't hate any of em much cept for those Alterra Bastards! Cuddlefish, Bladderfish, Hoopfish, Crabsquid don't care, less they make a better meal than a damn leach! I'm like a Crashfish onward, forward, upward only real difference is I ain't no petty self destructor!

Panel 1: *Riley is swimming past a reefback with a seaglide, a shadow is seen up ahead* PDA: Scans indicate Humanoid figure nearby. Proceed with caution.
Panel 2: *A strange swimmer is looking at a device when she notices Riley*
Panel 3: *The swimmer waves at Riley* PDA: specimen appears female and friendly, infection not detected.
Panel 4: *swimmer says something unintelligible* PDA: Cannot translate, scan advised.
Learn about Kika in my previous post: https://subnautica.fandom.com/f/p/4400000000000113016
(forgive the lopsided pic, I can't fix it)
To translate my shitty writing:
Kika, the last Precursor
Age: 2,000 years old
Sex: Female
Position: princess/scientist
Kika is the only one that received the cure of the Kharaa disease but it was too late for her kind, she used it on herself and has been trying to cure the planet before she reproduces.
Story: Kika is the precursors' ruler and a brilliant scientist. Her people were looking for a cure for the Kharaa when they found the Sea Emperor, she was the only one the Sea Emperor trusted at that time due to her kindness and she was willingly given Enzyme 42, she tried to share it but the bacterium killed the others before she could, so she used it on herself. Kika can't communicate with the emperor so she doesn't know what she wants and is trying to figure it out when she runs into Riley who can communicate with the emperor. Kika is able to reproduce asexually so she can restart the precursor race, however, she needs the bacterium gone before she can do so.
For some reason I can't use the scanner room in normal subnautica, like I can use the drones but I can't actually SCAN for things like when I try to click sandstone chunk it doesn't do anything, and it doesn't just do it for the sandstone chunk, I can't scan for ANYTHING. please, someone help. Ps, I'm on PS4
IF subnautica 3 is confirmed, where and when would it take place?
For me it would be robin going to the precursor home world.

…some good ol’ cave sulfur so I can fabricate a repair tool. Where’s the best place to find it? I keep drowning trying to dive too deep and haven’t had any luck.
