Yeah. The other Leviathans aren't immune. They just don't have textures for kharaa.
The Gargantuan Leviathan died millions of years ago. The Kharaa bacterium outbreak was only 1000 years prior.
I prefer the lack of weapons this game has. It means you are never on top. There is always some threat that can kill you.
Instead of just going around mindlessly killing everything that moves. It forces you to actually explore the map to avoid getting detected.
Fun fact. I tested it before. That base has negative hull integrity.
It's a different planet
AI Art relies on a database that is full artwork taken without permission. It causes more harm than good.
^ this. Its the species name, they dont change. Female King Cobras are still called King Cobras. Male Ladybugs are still called Ladybugs.
Also the Sea Emperor is not a female, nor is it a male. The Fauna on 4546B only have one gender that goes unnamed. This gender can lay eggs and fertilize them, despite this, most of them do not reproduce asexually.
Yeah, the above one makes sense. If they find a way to land, then they would most likely have a way to leave safely with kharaa on board.
You have to remember. Kharaa is on countless other planets. Failed quarantines measures in the past had caused that to happen. So you can see why they would be a lot more strict on quarantine now in an attempt to stop it from happening again.
The classification of animals for things such as "reptile" or "mammal" is based on what system you use.
There are two main systems
Linnaean - Animals are given the classifications based on characteristics. This system was made in the 1740s.
Cladistics- Animals are given the classification based on evolutionary ancestry. This system was made in the 1940s.
If you use the Cladistics, Gasopods can't be mammals, because they are from 4546B and not Earth, meaning they couldn't have evolved from the first mammal. Because the system work like this, mammals would only exist on Earth, same for reptiles, amphibians etc. As animals not from Earth, could not have evolved from the first ancestor of all mammals. A new classification would have to be made for creatures not from Earth. Meaning Gasopods wouldn't be a mammal, reptile or any of the other classifications.
If you use Linnaean, Gasopods still aren't mammals. As said earlier, mammals would be classified based on characteristics, Mammals produce milk for their offspring. Mammals also have fur and do not lay eggs. Though there are some exceptions to this rule, Such Cetaceans, (Dolphins, Whales) which lack fur (kinda) and Monotreme, (Platypus, Echidna) which lay eggs. Mammals also have three inner ear bones. Gasopods just fail to meet any of these. Meaning even under this old system, they aren't mammals.
I am 5km from your location and rapidly approaching
Start running
I was happy five seconds ago when I didn't know that
Iirc it became very active earlier this year. It used to be dead
Kharaa is a bacterium not a virus.
There's a difference
When it's ready
This place has always been a lost cause
What did the Reefback Leviathan ever do to you
1. Collecting a lot of diamonds and resources would not help your debt at all. Collecting resources is what causes the 1 trillion debt in the first place. All you are doing is making the devt bigger.
2. Nice necro, locking thread
Despite me being American, I think it makes more sense to use canadian/british since it is much more wide spread.
