I am missing 3 cuddlefish ); I hatched 4, released them right outside my base, in my 'outside' garden and gave the command to all 4 to Stay. Went off to the Lost River, came back, and there was only 1 cuddlefish. Is this a glitch/bug? Or did they swim off? Is there any way to keep the cuddlefish from vanishing?

According to the wiki, there are 5 cuddlefish eggs that can be found. I have played through the game several times and I have never been able to find the egg that is supposed to be at the center of the sinkhole. What am I missing?

"A large sinkhole can be found southwest from the larger wreck. The Dunes Caves are found within along with a Cuddlefish egg, located right in the center of the sinkhole."
