I mean spending months on an alien planet all on your own with no guarantee of escape, impending doom from the potentially uncurable and ever-worsening disease in your veins, on top of everything trying to kill you, not to mention the loneliness and fear... Ryley gets goofed on but he is seriously tough both mentally and physically.

Try piloting the prawn suit all the way from spawn to the bk trench, down into the lost river, to the tree cove, to the ILZ, and finally to the lava lakes and to the bottom of the Emperor's tank and then ALL THE WAY BACK. Bonus points of you do it from experience without watching a tutorial/having beacons.
(I've done it before so its very possible just a bit time-consuming)

Shield generator is essential for completing the game
You have to consider that humans are tough bastards disease-wise compared to aliens tho, there's so many diseases humans are immune from that aliens might never experienced and so weren't ready for.
Try searching in the grassy plateaus wrecks, most need a diamond cutter.
Basically just head toward the sparse reef /bkt and go past that a bit and youll find it
Some tips for you: both are in dangeorus places so i recommend preparation beforehand. the sparse reef wreck is the safest, while for the stillsuit the bulb wreck is safe (somwhat)
You may get lost, attacked, out of air, traumatized, or all of the above in the jelly caves
The grassy plateaus has a secret ambience that sometimes plays and isnt in the ost.

Underwater islands is good, just go straight ahead in until you find the big wreck on the biggest island and look around there.
