its been some time from when i last completed the game and ive been wondering on if i should try installing it again
if i do attempt to complete the game again, is there anything unique i should try in the new playthrough? are there mods i should download so my experience could be a bit different from what ive done before?

It really depends on where your base is. If you have a relatively small base thats close to the surface I would build some sonar panels. If your base is large and not near the surface/in a cave, I would use a bioreactor and have a sort of farm to accompany it.
Ghosts and dragons are my favorites. The Sea Emperor pretty great aswell.
IMO, Reefbacks are ok but Sea Treaders look ugly and I despise them. As I said, just an opinion, but I'm pretty sure someone is gonna insult me for this because apparently alot of people seem to think differently :/
Don't, its to much of a risk. You'll spend to much power coming there and back, combined with the lava larvae.

I'm pretty sure there isn't an official release date unfortunately, but I think it might come out around the beginning/mid 2021.
For a large base like that you're gonna have to build a lot of solar panels to sustain it. I think a better alternative is to farm Oculuses in an alien containment since it would provide much more power than the marblemelons. The base looks nice overall though :v
