I feel like not many people know this but the scanner room is actually really helpful. You can scan for objects using it and then use the cameras that it comes with to find it because it will have orange circles around it(Watch out for stalkers. they'll grab you). after you go there on your camera you can exit then go to it using the camera marker. but you can also get the Scanner Room HUD Chip then it will display the orange circles on your screen so you don't have to risk your cameras.
