In-game they're just programmed to fight, in-lore it's because they've seen warpers kill others of their species and recognize them as a threat

This is the Aquarius reef base.
It's an underwater research labratory, 19 meters under the surface, and it's used by NASA to simulate a space station and isolated environment for training astronauts.
It is, essentially, a real life seabase.
Would you live here? For how long, and would you need any incentive?
Never, unless you get mods. The base game is a finished product and devs are no longer updating it.

They're really not. If you're in a PRAWN, not only can you really take a beating from a Reaper, just punch it or drill it till it lets go. If you're in a Seamoth you're faster in it and might have the perimeter defense system. If you're in a Cyclops you might be in a little trouble, but that's a mistake you only make once or twice.
Probably Warpers have caused me the most trouble. Don't understand why everyone is scared of Reapers. They're just big fish.
