That’s almost exactly what the reality of what it is lmao, but Riley needs something to call them. Bad enough they all look the same, he needs something distinguishing because 1, they cant communicate via telepathy just yet and 2, it’s just general human habit. Something to make easier on him.

Any cool names for Emperor Babies?

Of all the wonderful things I’ve cooked up for my story, I’ve neglected to come up with names for the little guys!

I’d like names that start with E, and if they could be gender neutral that’d be fantastic, but neither are a requirement. If It helps, I’ve taken some inspiration from Avatar’s Na’vi for Emperor culture and philosophy, so if that helps with inspiration, it’s something ya know.

I do also need a singular C name for a cuddle fish. (I already have a Cuddles so don’t suggest that)

Ya don’t have to read my story, I just need names lmfao.

I’ll probably reupload the link sometime again in the future, there’s too much to convert to posts and more coming. There’s a point where I plan to make a poll regarding the series, but that won’t be until I start making the BZ stuff. I’ll probably reupload it then.

Well they were trained by the Emperor, specifically stated in one of the data logs, which would have started when the Kharaa was released. And given the time period between the Kharaa spread and the events of Subnautica are a thousand years apart, this “training” must have forced them to evolve. It is stated that they’re pretty much the reason any life is left on 4546B at all.

As I said, better unless using a Stasis rifle, which is the one thing you can’t use while in the Prawn.

Thermoblade is 40 damage per hit, Prawn arm is closer to 50 (but idk if that’s both or together, it just says 50 damage per second on the page) but given the advantages of the Prawn suit, it’s probably better to use it unless getting a Stasis Rifle involved.

Dunno if it’s allowed, but ima just post a link to the google doc I’m writing it on. I’ve added an Aurora section as well as exploring the QEP (I’ve also changed and added to the part immediately before it, some before and some after sunbeam blows up) I’ll reply here every once in awhile to let people know when I’ve got more sections done and story added. Yeah I’m definitely gonna rewrite some of the earlier bits, I didn’t realize just how off I was.

And why’d I think it was Lifepod 7 and why did nobody correct me lmao. Ig the name for this AU is the Lifepod 7 AU.

I was originally planning to include some of the “shock factor” of the alien world, but decided that it’d be a little too much. I might revise it in the final version but I really didn’t want to go over all those details, Yknow? You’re supposed to play the game lol. I’ll see what I can do with the less important bits once I’ve actually got the whole thing out. But I’m glad you liked the style, it’s my first time writing this way and I’m enjoying it myself!
