The switch isn't bad, y'all. Maybe subnautica on said device may be lacking, but the console as a whole shouldn't be condemned to hell or anything. Calm down.

I'm probably not going to actually make the game (I have a grand total of 0 modding experience), but I will keep it as a concept and build on it over time. Maybe in a few years I'll make it as a mod, who knows.
When you're exploring the dunes in your prawn and a reaper glitch-spawns above you, grabs you, shoves you below the map, you don't have a boost upgrade, you prawn falls endlessly into the void, and you just lost everything in an unreachable spot.
What I've lost: Prawn Suit, prop cannon arm, drill arm, depth module mk2, and many valuable resources in the storage.
Sounds cool. I would love to see more!
A few days ago, I thought of a concept for a new Subnautica game. (you can find that here) It was called "Subnautica: Thalassophobia Edition" and is basically a scary version of the main game, with a different story.
Here, I wanted to think of some story ideas and fauna/flora, and stuff like that to expand on this.
First idea: permanent hardcore mode (unless you choose creative)

Here's an idea. If Unknown Worlds were to make another game in the franchise, I think it should be more focused on the survival, and especially the horror aspect. More scary creatures, dark and deep places, and the game would essentially be a hard mode of Subnautica, but much more frightening. The game would be a separate storyline from the main games, and have it's own story.

I have Swindle the Jellyray, who is literally stuck under my base in the Mushroom Forest. That's his name, because Jellyrays are like knockoff Ghost Leiathans. Also, there is Fleip and Paige the cuddlefish.

I (in creative mode) made a base like 800 meters down while in the dead zone, and, using console commands, went back into survival and literally tried to live in the crater edge.
Yeah i had to go back and forth between my "Crater Base" and my "Surface base" to get materials and such. ALso i have a cuddlefish. in the crater edge. luckily they have like a LOT of hp tho
Using the air bladder/repulsion cannon glitch, i flew myself all the way from life pod 5 to the southern blood kelp zone.
I can't get the video, but I was doing it on my nintendo switch creative mode playthrough.
