Arrowhead Leviathan

DATA BANK ENTRY

A leviathan-class aggressive carnivorous creature. It is evolved for speed. Its smooth skin reduces drag. Because of this, it usually hunts faster creatures than other leviathans, which prefer slower creatures.

1. Jaws: The outer mandibles are powerful. Can crush a Seamoth if not careful. The second pair of jaws are located within.

2. Secondary Jaws: An extension of the gullet. It has a powerful suction force. Teeth are sharp but won't pull down, just suck you in.

3. Large Eyeballs: Has a very good vision for its size.

4. Attack Profile: Charges at you with intense speeds, like a bullet.

Hornshark

• Biome: Underwater Islands, Grassy Plateaus, Grand Reef

DATA BANK ENTRY

A medium-sized aggressive carnivorous creature that is a solitary hunter, ignoring or defending its territory against others of its kind. Studies suggest, even though its name, is not related to either the Boneshark or Sand Shark.

1. Horn: Large and sharp. Used for ramming against prey. It has high amounts of calcium within the interior and many layers of thick keratin coating the exterior.

2. Jaws: Extremely wide. The jaw force is not as strong as other creatures of its size, suggesting it uses its large throat pouch to capture prey.

3. Throat pouch: Excessively large. It utilizes this to store prey within. Alien studies say that it uses this to break down its food for later consumption.

4. Attack profile: Opens its mouth and will try to swallow you. Its jaw force may not be strong, however, it has long, sharp teeth.

5. Assessment: Avoid, highly distracted by light or other food sources.
