Stop using thumper anyway. Use a Prawn instead of Snowfox, you get attacked less + don't get ejected + more durable + can drill the Ion Cube deposits. And it looks cooler.

Alpha peeper can be physically acquired by the use of the FCS modpack.
Also there is a custom commands mod that allows you to pick up any leviathan (actually you can go as far as a base as well) and place it in a fish tank.
