Blood Oil is a harvestable Raw Material abundantly found in the Blood Kelp Zone and Blood Kelp Caves areas.

Pustules of Blood Oil can be found attached to the lower part of Bloodvine stems or on Blood Cave Roots. The PDA description, found on the bloodvine page, notes that it is an oily goo.

It can be picked up by hand and be used for crafting or farming in order to grow Bloodvines.

Currently, it cannot be used in the Bioreactor to produce energy, unlike most other materials the player can farm from flora.

Future Updates

• The Blood Pustules and Blood Oil will become blue-green in future updates, to keep trend with the yellow blood of native fauna.
