The Gas Torpedo is an item used as ammunition for the Prawn Suit Torpedo Arm for the Prawn Suit. It fires gas created from Crystalline Sulfur, creating a damaging cloud of toxic gas. When fired, the Gas Torpedo will lock on to nearby creatures. If there is a Leviathan Class Predator nearby, it will automatically lock onto it regardless of other nearby creatures.
The icon for the Gas Torpedo's icon is slightly different to that of the Vortex Torpedo; although it shares the same model.

The blueprint for this item is acquired by unlocking the Prawn Suit Torpedo Arm.

- Because of its nature, the Gas Torpedo can be classified as the game's only lethal weapon. The Knife may be also considered as such but its purpose serves more as a survival tool.
