The Large Morganite Formation is a large crystalline structure found in the Crystal Caves. They make up a large part of the biome's terrain.

Appearance[]

Large Morganite Formations are purple in hue that starts lighter at the bottom and gets darker towards the end of each individual crystal. Several instances of these structures are translucent. They vary in structure, as many of the crystals can be seen growing in clusters with crystals pointing in a uniform direction, or in small clusters with crystals pointing outwards from a common origin.

A large collection of the crystals can be found in the entrances to the Crystal Castle and by extension the Crystal Caves Cache, forming large walls and corridors in both areas.

Morganite is a rare variety of beryl, a durable mineral consisting of a beryllium-aluminum silicate.

Its striking purple coloration is an indication that trace amounts of manganese were present during formation.
