Lead is a raw material acquired from Sandstone Outcrops, and can also be found as a large resource deposit. They appear as aggregates of roughly uniform, cubic crystalline mineral formations.

Due to its screening properties from Radiation, Lead can be used to craft the Radiation Suit and Reactor Rods.

• Before Lead was available as a natural resource, it was crafted using the Fabricator, with the precise recipe varying depending on the game build. The first iteration required 3 Copper Ore and 1 Silver Ore, while a later variant used two Batteries to create a material called "Lead Plate."
• A piece of lead can be found inside Lifepod 6, presumably intended to be used to craft radiation suits.
• Lead used to be acquired from Limestone Outcrops.
