The Prawn Suit Thermal Reactor is an upgrade for the Prawn Suit that generates power in areas that are 30 °C or higher.
It can be used around areas with geothermal activity to recharge the Prawn Suit's Power Cells. It charges at approximately 1 percent a minute in hot areas.
Note that standing directly on purple vents will damage the prawn suit, and in some cases (ex., several of the vents in the descent leading to the Crystal Caves) provide no power. To check if an apparent source of heat actually provides power, stand next to it and check the prawn suit's temperature display.

The blueprint for this item is acquired by scanning Sea Monkey Nests in the Lilypads Crevice. It can be crafted in the Fabricator or the Vehicle Upgrade Console.
