No you didn’t... first of all, you cannot go 1,000,000 meters away from spawn in an hour. Second, you can’t build a base in the dead zone, there’s no land to place it over. And also, there’s no terrain in the dead zone. Maybe you didn’t go as far as you thought and you just found a barren location that happened to be far out and have cliffs.
