You have to keep in mind that, in order to build the rocket, you will have to find all the Precursor bases, all the Degasi bases, 1 specimen of about a dozen types of flora, scan at least 3/4 of the fauna and hatch the emperor eggs. You can't do this in 2 days, unless you play non-stop or play in creative.
