  • Now I know Im just an information leech that just uses this platform instead of contributing, but isn't the compartmentalization of the subnautica franchise into two wikias a little silly? It just seems to me like all it does is add more work and make it harder to find things quickly. If there is a reason that im just not seeing I'd be happy to know, but otherwise this is a problem that will only get harder to fix the more there is added.

    • I think two separate wikias are better especially since below zero is a separate game.

    • A seperate game doesn't neccisarily warant an entirely new website, otherwise there would be like 20 billion call of duty wikis. I'm not super concerned by this because there are only two games, but the reasoning just doesn't seem sound to me.

    • Game series like Call of Duty or zelda would be all one wikia because how many games there are.

I cant really think of other reason why it was separat. I would image that any other reason was probably mentioned on the discord, which would explain why I wouldnt know.

But bippity most likely has a good reason to make it a seperate wikia

    • Bippity believes having both games on one wiki would be very messy and difficult to customize separately. Personally I believe it would be better to combine them but I don't want to subject the rest of the editors to the amount of work it would take to switch back over, especially during early access.

    • Merging both wikis together would most certainly make it easier for editing and information, and it might be better in the long run. However due to the amount of work put into the separate wiki as of now, I don't think many people would want to move the information over.
