I think that unless you have a seamoth/cyclops, that has a hull integrity of 500 or have a bio reactor or something, you should build your base in the grassy plateau, just to play it safe until you have supplies to make a base in the jelly biome. Unless you dont like playing it safe. If you like living dangerously, go to the jelly biome
